Comments:

The aromas of berry and plum really got my hopes up for this wine. Unfortunately, the flavor quickly faded into a mild tannic finish with not a lot follow through on the inital hint fruit. This will not get you many complaints nor many compliments. A true middle of the road Zin, with not a lot to brag about.

From the Label:

Full, dark, spicy, fruity and-more than anything - fun, Zinfandel is California's most appealing and emblematic wine. If you want a classic example, look no further than the Ravenwood Vinters Blend. Made with grapes predominately from the traditional Zin-growing areas of Sonoma, Lodi and Mendocino counties, it's bursting with the varietal's trademark rasberry and pepper character, backed by enough oak to lend it presence and give it backbone. Rich, soft and savory with all kinds of food, it's close to being all things to all wine loving people.
