Comments:

Somewhat complex wine only mild fruit and no oak flavor, with mild tannins. In the sprit of full disclosure, this is a true French wine. My definition of a coplex wine with depth includes that oak finish that is clearly missing from this wine. To each his own, but I have better places to put my $10.99 to get a wine I really enjoy.

From the Label:

Paul Jaboulet has been a respected shipper and vineyard owner in the Rhone Valley since 1834. They have chosen the name "Parallele 45" to immortalize the location of the vineyards for their popular Cotes du Rhone selection. The monument pictured onthe front label marks the 45th latitiude which passes through many of the finest wine growing regions of the northern hemisphere.
