Comments:

I have consumed many bottles of this wine. I all honesty, I prefered the 2001 vintage more than the 2002. Even so, the 2002 vintage offers rich plum, black cherry and blueberry flavors up front. The finish is mildly tannic with hints of oak and other earthy tones. A very pleasant wine and a good value. It is worth noting here that I have encountered signifigant variations in quality bottle to bottle in the same vintage. But at $6.99 a bottle, it is hard to go wrong.

From the Label:

Columbia-Crest Merlot Cabernet is a delicious fruit-forward wine with a rich, silky finish. Generous blackberry and raspberry flavors are wrapped around a core of warm vanilla from extended aging in small oak barrels.

The "Two Vines" designation is a tribute to the special trellising of our vines. Like all great wines, Columbia Crest's quality begins in the vineyard. This extra effort to position grape clusters for better sun exposure helps produce the ripest grapes, and richer, more flavorful wines.
