Comments:

Marketing more than wine, that tells the story here folks. Not much in the way of fruit, not much flavor, but not offensive either. In other words, a mass market wine trying to be cool. While this may be a wine of last resort, I have tasted worse.

From the Label:

The Rex Goliath Story - At the turn of the century HRM (His Royal Majesty) Rex Goliath was the treasured attraction of a Texas Circus. People came from far and wide to behold the 47 lb. bird, billed as the "Worlds's Largest Rooster." Our label replicates the one of a kind, vintage artwork from the circus bannerthat hung aboveRex's roost and we proudly honor HRM with our penium varietal wines.

Amidst the natural splender of Central Coast California, ourvineyards enjoy the most optimum growing conditions and the beauty of untamed hillside landscapes. We invite you to raise a toast to Rex with our "free range" Merlot.

Vinted & Bottled by HRM Rex-Goliath! Wines, Woodbridge, California. No website and no vintage.
